Rediscovered after a decade - so happy to find it again
It was my search for 1270 that led me in the direction of Libertine Parfumerie, and I’m so happy that I found my way to them. I had been looking for a new fragrance and have made a few poor choices along the way while sleep deprived at duty free counters between long haul flights, and with a nose confused by too much exploration. I thought maybe I couldn’t fall in love with a perfume again. So decided to return to an old favourite, after more than a decade. I love 1270 more than ever. And am so grateful for LP’s practice of sending a sample of the large bottle so you can be sure it’s right before you commit. The extra accompanying samples are a generous and welcome addition. The packaging is exquisite. The handwritten note, a lovely touch. And the fact that the package is sprayed with a thoughtfully selected fragrance is really clever. I loved the Royal Princess Oud (Creed) that perfumed my parcel and kept the packaging in my room for a week to enjoy it for as long as possible. I suspect this will be my next purchase.

I met 1270 in a masterclass and fell in love. It’s rich and has the woody Amberley notes I love plus a bit of sweetness. Would be heaven on a man too. Love Libertine’s generous gift style packaging, samples and personal note. If you want to treat yourself like a special friend shop at Libertine. Guru Michael gave me fabulous layering suggestion too. J’Adore Libertine, Merci.
