At 430 King’s Road, London, Vivienne Westwood’s iconic store, SEX, was where it all began. Cool kids with bleached hair swapped rare vinyl records. Distressed denim, hand-painted leather, latex, tartan, and prints so bold they could make parents blush — perhaps even keep their children indoors for an entire summer.

Did Punk invent fashion, or did fashion invent Punk? From underground clubs to national television, Punk always had its own style, its own press (fanzines), its own films, its own poetry. It was only fitting that it should have its own fragrance.

As loud as a rehearsal in a room with no soundproofing. As powerful as a youth riot, yet still sweet and romantic — an ode to adolescent idealism wrapped in a heavy leather jacket.
