AMBER AOUD opens on the skin with typical Roja flair. From the first moment salty, musky ambergris explodes onto the skin lifted by a beautiful blend of citrus. This citrus freshness last but seconds, giving way to that signature Roja trio of Rose de Mai, Jasmin de Grasse and Ylang-Ylang. These sumptuous florals at the heart of the fragrance are sweetened by a rich jammy fig and the warmth of cinnamon. As the fragrance evolves it grows richer on the skin as orris lends a powdery nuance, while the combination of saffron and oakmoss add a deep earthy intensity. The whole experience that is AMBER AOUD is tied together by both oud and ambergris, they are undeniably the stars here firmly anchoring the fragrance.
