To begin with, the way the Aztecs valued and used cocoa has no equivalent today. Spicy and stimulating, Xocolatl was a potion drunk only by kings, giving them God-like wisdom and power. To recreate the magical world of Central America, we went back to the cocoa tree and its brown beans.
We added spices and rum. Perfumes of the earth and desert. Dense, liqueur-like notes. The result is a fragrance that takes us over, adding at least a little of that lost magic to our daily lives.
Our fragrance makes the imagination soar in the company of modern shaman Carlos Castaneda, of the great Federico Fellini and his Trip to Tulum, the film he dreamt of but never made.
