II Deux

Essentially the above. Easily one of the 'freshest' smelling parfums I've smelt (so far at least). I primarily just get the fresh cut green leaves aroma but that's ultimately great, nice and inoffensive. It's just that the aroma doesn't stick around much at all. As point of comparison I bought a family member Checkmate they'd only put small amount on and has lasted well all day but this one you can't smell after an hour or 2. Even when you ask others. Still good just wish would last much longer.

The fragrance has a scent of manicured lawn and the vibe of being in a park after the rain. This is very different from the perfumes I have bought before. My previous perfumes are basically woody, but I also like the smell of this perfume.

When Trudon announced it was branching into perfumery, I must confess to half raising a cynical eyebrow. But when I attended the launch, I was immediately entranced by Deux. It was almost as though it was scripted, ie I was not drawn to any other scent in the range but Deux. And what a pull! Refreshing yet heady top notes, as though one is in a pine forest in early winter; entirely hypnotic. The dry down does mellow, but lingers beautifully for hours and hours on end. I have found my signature scent.

Perfect smell. It’s a unique bushy woody smell. I think it’s also unisex, my boyfriend wears it too.
