Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’s Melograno fragrance is a bouquet of sweet floral oriental notes. The fragrance summons warm, welcoming sensations, an appropriate interpretation of the tree’s symbolic meaning. The pomegranate tree spread from Persia throughout the Mediterranean. It embellished many ancient Egyptian tombs. The pomegranate fruit symbolizes many things. It appears in the Song of Songs, in The Odyssey and in ancient folklore, emblematic of fertility and abundance.

The fragrance opens with fresh spicy and citrus notes. In the middle, rose and ylang ylang joins the red notes of pomegranate. On the base, patchouli, labdanum, and musk blend with deep notes of oakmoss.

I can’t think of anything else that I would want to smell like on a daily basis

This I am happy to say is my perfect signature scent.

It is very beautiful and unique, it smells elegant and expensive. Definitely screams Italian luxury like nothing else.

For me this smells clean and fresh like the most luxurious soap and body powder.Its clean and fresh but never intrusive or too musky. It is surprisingly long lasting for the concentration.

This is what I would expect the most elegant Italian woman would smell like, not a girl, but a confident and ****, naturally beautiful woman.

I love that this is not for everyone, you will have people wondering if you are wearing a fragrance or whether you you naturally smell this incredible.

Smells “Expensive Clean”

A lot of reviews say this scent is “feminine”. I would push back and say this scent is clean. A friend said I smelt “expensive clean”. It’s the perfect balance of not too powdery and not too spicey. It works on any gender. It’s long lasting, and a little goes a long way.

Soft, Sophisticated & Feminine

A sophisticated soft baby powder scent is the way I's describe this. I did expect it to be more amber orientated & maybe even a little spicey. After wearing Melograno a couple of times, I have grown to love it & would definitely purchase again. It's a very feminine fragrance.
