The fragrance is dedicated to the Mud Angels who flocked to Florence after the flood, to save the heart and history of the city.

Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella’s Angeli di Firenze fragrance is a bouquet of sweet, fruity notes. It was created in 2006 to mark the 40th anniversary of the Florence flood. It is dedicated to the Mud Angels, youth from all over the world who flocked to Florence after the devastating flood of November 4, 1966 to save the heart and history of the city.

The fragrance opens with juicy notes of peach combined with the brilliance of citrus fruits. In the middle, marine notes are sweetened with black currant and illuminated by jasmine. On the bottom note, musk and sandalwood are accompanied by an elegant vanilla note.

Fruity, creamy and luxe

Dipping my toe into soft florals, I am pleasantly surprised. Whilst not quite ready to purchase anything from the floral category, I would actually wear this one if gifted. It is fruity and creamy but has a delightful lightness to it. I’d describe it as an all year round, feminine scent.

Heaven scent

I bought it as a present for my daughter. She tried it when we visited Santa Maria Novella in Rome a few years ago and loved it.

The online order was done swiftly and safely and was delivered promptly within the time frame given.

It was nicely packaged with the bonus of free samples of a range of good quality perfumes. Very happy

with my experience with Libertine and will be happy to order again and give great reviews to friends and family!

Amazing

Shipping time was amazing, perfume came with a huge range of free samples and the box was even sprayed with perfume. The Angeli di Firenze 1221 is literally what angels smell like. Cannot recommend this perfume and this company enough. Definitely will be back.
