Experimentum Crucis

I am surprised that I seldom hear about Experimentum Crucis in reviews but in a way it is good to keep it a secret, then it stays niche. I have the 100ml in a beautiful blue bottle, the packaging and box is already a statement. But the perfume itself is just deliciously gorgeous! The minute I first sprayed this on me, i was blown away. The scent is very bold but not in a bad way, it smells rich, ****, spicy & warm, smoky, slightly floral/fruity but not cloyingly so & someone even told me it - ‘smells expensive’. The scent just envelopes you.

I always get compliments whenever i wear this. And i find myself reaching out for this 90% of the time, it’s become my signature scent. Just bear in mind, one spritz is enough, the sillage is incredible, everyone knows you’re in the room when you wear this. Lasts forever in my clothes, even if i’ve washed, i can still smell it. My wardrobe smells of it wonderfully. It is stunning for evening wear though having said that i do wear it a lot during the day too. Some reviews comment on the cumin but it actually blends in beautifully with all the other ingredients of this perfume. It’s just magical.

This is so underrated, but such stunning fragrance and it lasts forever- if you spray it on your clothes, it lasts for a week at least. I get a whiff of it in my wardrobe. On skin, it is gorgeous beyond a doubt, people stop, look at me and ask what fragrance i’m wearing. That is a sign of a good perfume. Someone told me I smell expensive! A spray or two is enough. It is an elegant pwrfume, so well made by the house of Etat.
