I think this is an astonishing fragrance - so sophisticated and sensual, alluring and self-possessed. This opens with a bright splash of grapefruit then very quickly morphs into a nutty, spicy, woody fragrance that is adult, delicious, and balanced. Though autumnal in personality, I think of this as a "summer night" perfume - it blooms so elegantly in humid environments and seasons. Lovely on skin, lovely on clothes. I think this is unsurpassed.

Homme parfum is a fantastic scent at a great price, full of unique notes and great longevity without being too in your face.

This was a blind purchase, based on the reviews on Libertine. And wow -- I am blown away. Love at first sniff. Beautiful strong woody scent with lots more happening underneath. My husband wears Santal 33 by Le Labo and Homme Parfum has a similar but less overpowering appeal to it. There's a freshness it that makes it wearable in both winter and summer and its got great longevity. I can't stop sniffing myself!

The perfume is not a scent.... its an essence..... I love it........ earthy, smokey and soft......lasts for the day...... I am very happy with my purchase.

Libertine are very customer focused. I was very impressed when I opened my purchase, the presentation was lovely. Black sleeved box, samples in a black pouch bag and all secured & safe from breakage. I don't need to shop anywhere else for my perfume etc.

I came across this scent while I was away one weekend and the store was out of stock … I was so disappointed. But as everything happens for a reason, it lead me to an amazing website - in country - which not only had the perfume I was looking for but soooo many others.

Not only is the service amazing, the sample bag is always filled with new and amazing scents, I just don’t know what to try first, I also don’t have the heart to throw the bag away coz it smells so good .. any ideas on re-purposing it ??

Love libertine and their fragrances

It was my search for 1270 that led me in the direction of Libertine Parfumerie, and I’m so happy that I found my way to them. I had been looking for a new fragrance and have made a few poor choices along the way while sleep deprived at duty free counters between long haul flights, and with a nose confused by too much exploration. I thought maybe I couldn’t fall in love with a perfume again. So decided to return to an old favourite, after more than a decade. I love 1270 more than ever. And am so grateful for LP’s practice of sending a sample of the large bottle so you can be sure it’s right before you commit. The extra accompanying samples are a generous and welcome addition. The packaging is exquisite. The handwritten note, a lovely touch. And the fact that the package is sprayed with a thoughtfully selected fragrance is really clever. I loved the Royal Princess Oud (Creed) that perfumed my parcel and kept the packaging in my room for a week to enjoy it for as long as possible. I suspect this will be my next purchase.

Brilliant boozy fragrance - Gives me rum and raisin ice cream liqueur, certainly a shame it lasts 4ish hours

I met 1270 in a masterclass and fell in love. It’s rich and has the woody Amberley notes I love plus a bit of sweetness. Would be heaven on a man too. Love Libertine’s generous gift style packaging, samples and personal note. If you want to treat yourself like a special friend shop at Libertine. The original fragrance's pronounced earthy notes proved somewhat underwhelming; however, this flanker is exceptional and enjoys broad appeal. Its popularity is undeniable, although elements of the original remain in the dry down. Similarly, the Elysium Eau Intense and Apex Eau Intense iterations represent significant improvements over their respective original formulations. Definitely give this fragrance a try. I rate this 9/10.

Amazing and complex fragrence one of the best offerings from creed

Woody Aromatic fragrance for women and men. I think it is quite fresh for an amouage and can be an all year round fragrance

This one caught me by surprise. Citrus opening the frankincense creeps up and settles in the background and the vanilla is prominent especially in the dry down with the incense lingering around. One of my new favourites from amouage

This was a blind buy after watching and reading reviews on Xeroff fragrances. This did not disappoint! Wow what an amazing fragrance. Great longevity and smells awesome!
