Mughetto (Lily Of The Valley)

I read of this very perfume in a novel, so ordered it as Lily of the Valley (Mughetto) is my birth flower. This is my second bottle. It is so refreshing and cool. The scent is long lasting which is all one can ask!

It takes me straight to walking next to a river and the lilies that grow beside it, when you can just smell the flowers on the breeze and you look around to see where it's coming from. It's mysterious and playful, and lastly you get an edge of citrus that uplifts it beautifully. It's sophisticated yet playful, subtle yet so unique and fresh. It's perfect for me, honestly I couldn't have chosen better. The spray is also nice and misty and light, so you don't accidentally waste any of this gorgeous scent. I can see myself finishing the 100ml within 6 months, it's just lovely.

(Also it came with a hand written note which is so sweet. The testers are also in very cute atomisers, easy to use and you can get a couple days use out of them too!)

Lovely rich (but not cloying) fragrance.

I'd been searching for a perfume just a little different from my favourite of over fifty years, Diorissimo, and I found it in Mughetto. On me it's true lily of the valley, fresh and not too sweet. I also appreciated the assistance I received at the Libertine boutique in Myer Melbourne although I made my purchase online, the lovely packaging and the extra samples. My next purchase will be an out of the ordinary rose based perfume!

This scent is timeless and an accurate capture of the lily of the valley scent. Beautiful.
