I purchased this for both myself and hubby. A very warm and intoxicating blend that can be worn day to night and almost every season. This is a very versatile and easy reach but still unique! Such a great fragrance slightly spicy and warm with a touch of fruits in the opening but the white suede, sandalwood, vanilla and musks in the base balance out the blend to be creamy and very comforting. Decent longevity too approx 5 hrs maybe- wish it was a little longer but still love this and recommend.

I received this as a 10ml sample and as soon as I sprayed it, my muma walked past and asked me if she could try it on her skin. Little did I know she had the intention of keeping it haha. It is such a beautiful and happy scent. Considering we’re in spring at the moment it’s perfect. Maybe if muma is lucky she’ll get a full bottle. The first wiff of the fragrance smells like a cream like dessert and settles down beautifully with its fruity notes. It is an absolute delight.

This scent completely transported me as soon as I sprayed. It is an instant favourite. It’s so tuberose, very jasmine, and sweet ylang ylang. Obsessed.

What an incredible & gorgeous rich blending oriental florals Indian tuberose, ylang ylang and gardenia.

I love to layer this amber fragrance with scented shower gel and body lotion.

Its transformative and lasts beautifully.

To me it smells like marzipan. After a while it dries down to sweet and soft vanilla. It's like a nice comforting hug. I even wear it to bed sometimes because it's so cozy.

So many foodie scents are sickly sweet, and cloying. Not so with Velvet Tonka. It has the perfect amount of sweetness which is damped down by a delicious creamy, dry, powdery note of almond. It's aromatic and ambery, and it's grounded by a woody, tobacco base. It's my current favourite scent and there's something very **** about smelling it on my clothes. My husband loves it too, which is a bonus.

Like a hug from a plush cashmere jumper. Can't get enough of this sweet, creamy scent. Drys down with warm clean undertones.

I received a sample of Velvet Tonka from Libertine with my last order and soon realised I needed a full bottle!

A heavenly vanilla almondy woody scent that immediately comforts me. The rose and orange blossom in this is not so obvious on me, I mostly get a rich warm vanilla marzipan note along with a hint of tobacco leaf in the dry down. A perfect Fall/Winter scent that envelops you and is almost reminiscent of fresh almond croissants in Paris. It’s a wonderful scent- could be rocked by a man if you prefer sweeter scents - with 6-8 hours longevity on my skin with a good sillage for the first 2-3 hours and then a closer to your body projection after that
