Soft woods
This perfume starts green, bright and fresh with a blend of orange/bergamot before the spices come through. The top notes lingers as the scent progresses through the different stages. The sandalwood note is sweet, dry and blends well with the other notes of orange, rose and patchouli. It is a perfume that has better performance power, it is subtle but gets many complements.

Lovely spicy scent. Along with Datura Blanche (a floral) both expensive scents and are on my 'to purchase' list. When Sale is on. Both scents are lovely to use day and night. Using these samples May Qld weather. Try them for your self as we all have different opinions and wants.

Violet and suede match made in heaven
Stop the press. This scent is divine. The violet note makes it a very floral version of a dry woods scent, and sweet. This would make a beautiful autumn and winter scent although I wouldn’t completely eliminate it from being used in spring. Possibly fractionally feminine leaning. This is my first Keiko Mecheri experience and I am very excited about future ones!

Sweet mossy fragrance
This is a fascinating scent. Slight masculine lean. A sweet mossy fragrance. Fresh (bergamot and marine), spicy and then the incense and white sandalwood. I consider this an all year round and day or evening fragrance.

Nice scent
My all time favourite scent by KM is Hanae. I thought I'd take a gamble on Makassar instead... It's not a "what are you wearing, I must know " type of scent, or a forever favourite but it lasts well on my skin and isn't overwhelming. It was my first, but won't be my last Libertine purchase.

Overpowering scent
I received this perfume as a sample. I love Libertine’s samples as they allow me to try perfumes I wouldn’t ordinarily be attracted to. This perfume was not for me. It was overpowering and masculine in smell.

Mature scent
I feel this is a very mature scent, with the olibanum and tobacco. Unisex, maybe slightly masculine. Not an overly sweet amber scent. A bold scent. I wouldn’t consider this a safe blind buy, unless you are specifically looking for a bold frankincense scent!
