Realistic dark chocolate
You needn’t be a Chocoholic to enjoy Dark. It smells as though you’ve just unwrapped 75% Lindt - not too bitter, and not sweet, not soapy or waxy or milky. As Goldilocks said…juuuust right.
Even though the official Akro website says that Dark has cinnamon, hazelnut and vanilla, it is the cocoa which predominates. And it is a quality cocoa. Although the brand doesn’t acknowledge including patchouli or cloves, they could well be part of the blend. If I have one complaint about Dark though, it is the poor longevity. In hot, humid weather I’m lucky to smell it 30 minutes later. It performs better in winter and autumn, but not well enough to give it 5 stars. Bring out an Extrait I say.
