Interlude Black Iris

My favourite Amouage. A younger man can definitely pull this off given they have the confidence. I'm 26 and this perfectly suits my goth aesthetic. It's highly complex, with the powdery opening being much more elegant than Interlude Man (which I've tried). A refined amber and oud dry down contrasted with a touch of sweetness from the vanilla which makes it much more approachable. And my goodness, that orris butter is so smooth. Reminds me of a darker, more masculine Celine Black Tie. I couldn't stop smelling my arm. Amazing for the sophisticated, confident and mysterious gentleman who wants to exude luxury.

I'd also recommend Memoir Man if you want this but more green and with tobacco.

I would highly recommend this absolutely stunning fragrance. It’s complex without being too “busy”. The opening is much gentler than the other Interlude fragrances but the dry down is very similar. The overall feel this fragrance gives me is very comforting. Longevity is incredible which does help justify the high price. Although this is sold in the mens line of fragrance I would describe it as suitable for any gender. Although the fragrance isn’t too mature smelling it is very elegant and refined so it may not appeal to the youngest generations.

I bought this scent for my husband. He absolutely loves it. Shopping with Libertine is always a pleasure. Excellent service and prompt delivery. My husband enjoyed the samples too.

My first fragrance purchase and to this day my favourite. Bold and masculine, with the slightest respite of orris, that makes it that bit more wearable than Interlude. The dry-down is leather and more leather, soaked in vanilla, and performance is from another planet. This was a serious baptism for someone with an inexperienced nose, but I won't go anywhere without it now.

A complex and rich fragrance. Silage and projection is in beast mode. I get 10 hours on this personally. Less is more with this gem. The dry down is gorgeous.
