Vanilla Vibes

I normally dislike vanilla scents, to the point where I will often automatically exclude perfumes that use it as a note. The only reason I tried Vanilla Vibes is because it was part of a JHAG discovery set. And I’m so glad I did, because this is truly something special.

The saltiness beautifully balances out the soft, creamy vanilla and prevents it from becoming too cloying or heavy — it’s like vanilla took a beach holiday, and now has warm salty skin and faint echoes of coastal wood in their hair.

If you’re looking for a gourmand vanilla with beast mode projection, this scent probably isn’t for you. But if you want a cosy, unique vanilla that sits close to the skin and whispers about the sea, give it a try.

Vanilla Vibes. What can I say . I live in Australia & had never heard of this brand let alone how it would smell. Until I saw an influencer from the states, show it on one of her lives ( unrelated ). She had purchased it for her sister. He sister was on the live with her & loved it. They both did. So they both kept mentioning your name & the scent so I googled you as any one person who likes a good perfume, would do. I did so having never have smelt it & Not knowing how it would smell on me. They convinced me that well.

I LOVE IT. Vanilla Vibes is absolutely gorgeous. I received it in a beautiful gift box with a personal not to me. THEN that little surprise of having not one but 4 samples of more beautiful perfume that I just know I'll have to buy. So I thank you.

O.k. Not enough hang time.

It is a great one! It is airy light but present and lovely. So refreshing and vibrant.

Sadly for me this particular perfume has not impressed me. Others in the range are more complex and longer lasting, but so far vanilla vibes has disappointed. Inoffensive to the point of unnoticeable. Probably my fault for not doing the research, but this has little to no substance would have been lifted with some sweet tobacco notes, or just something to elevate the vanilla.

Not sure if this is the right place to add this, but I found my experience with Libertine to be great and I’ll definitely be back as a customer. Sorry about the bummer of this review!
