I purchased the Amouage Essences sampler set after receiving a sample of Reasons with a previous order — and I was instantly hooked. Reasons is a beautifully composed, creamy pine -dominant fragrance that struck a real chord with me (despite the note profile not being my usual cup of tea), so I was excited to explore Outlands and Lustre, especially given the glowing reviews.
While Outlands and Lustre didn’t suit my personal taste, the set was still worth it for Reasons alone — it’s fast becoming a true favourite.
The packaging is also gorgeous: elegant and reflective of the luxury you expect from Amouage. Overall, this is a great way to experience the range.
