Take a fig leaf, rub it in the palms of your hands, and then afterwards smell your hands. You will sense the green and crisp vivacity of the breaking stem, the roundness of the fruit that is still ripening in the sun and the freshness of an afternoon in the shade of the branches. Cologne de Figuier is an "olfactory sketch" of this gesture leaving its fragrance on your skin. Based on a fig leaf accord with a zest of bergamot and grapefruit, the vegetal greenness of a galbanum adds a spicy touch of pink pepper. A wood marquetry, with mineral and amber notes, emphasizes the density of the tree, in the background. A fig tree sketched in one stroke by a perfumer, therefore tracing the contours of a bright, green and subtly woody Cologne.

"This Cologne adds another dimension to the fig tree. It sets off the traditional fruity accents of the fig and releases the whole tree. We can sense the wood, the leaves, the branches. I wanted a composition that could be worn at any time of the year, like a desire to instantly remember a nap against a tree. "

This is now my signiture scent, fig and musk perfection with around 7 hours of longevity on my skin and decent sillage. Figuier creates a scent bubble that lingers and trails behind bringing many compliments. 9.5 out of 10

long lasting and subtle

I embarked on a journey of discovery when libertine sent me samples with my order. Cologne de figuier was remarked upon by 3 separate people as wasno other sample. I tried again a few weeks later ,same result . Very sophisticated perfume I am about to buy my third bottle
