During the harvest, from november to february, the tree bark is incised to release resin, which hardens into gum ready for essential oil extraction.
Encens sacré captures the dual essence of incense. One is a sweet, mineral, balsamic note from distilled resin, and the other evokes the warmth of burnt incense, paying homage to the ancient art of fumigation. These contrasting notes are enhanced by a floral heart of moroccan rose and jasmine, resting on a warm base of amber, patchouli, and sandalwood.
