Sophisticated yet accessible
Bukhara is another O.rmonde Jayne artwork that I love more and more.
I’m often underwhelmed at first meeting then it presents all the happy glorious notes of jasmine , tuberose , peach and wood ( with a subtle Dryden of the most likeable oud )but it’s a little dry which to my nose adds an English restraint that rewards with a lasting love , not a fleeting infatuation.
So many fragrances reel you in with an immediate swoon of beauty but shrivel to become pedestrian .
It lasts on skin around 6 hours and garners the most telling compliment “ What’s that beautiful smell?” Rather than “ what’s that perfume ?”
This house can do no wrong . I always suggest 7 sprays with any fragrance that is not “ beast mode “ to achieve perfection and joy
