Better tham I expected
Due to COVID, I’d blind purchased this fragrance. I’ve seen very mixed reviews online and was very unsure. After receiving this, it’s a soft floral without being too powdery. Not as complex as the usual Amouage fragrance but still very likeable. A nice summer fragrance to enjoy now.

Spring in a bottle
Love Mimosa is my favourite of the garden series and a must try for mimosa lovers. This is the quintessential scent of an Australian spring - a freshness in the air, the honeyed floral scent of wattle in full bloom, heavy with pollen, a little dewy and waxy. This has a bit more heft than some of the more ethereal mimosa soliflores on the market but avoids the cumin and animalic overtones of Frederic Malle's Une Fleur de Cassie - a fragrance I also love but which can be a little much in hot weather. All of the elements here - the jasmine , the pear, the "aquatic" notes, the heliotrope - all serve to elevate the different fragrant and textural facets of the mimosa flower whilst preventing the fragrance from falling flat after the opening sparkle.
This is a departure from the usual Amouage style of dense, classical, French-meets-oriental perfumery so keep that in mind with the garden "Love" series.
On another note: Libertine continues to wow me with their exceptional generosity (so many extra samples!) and service, right down to the free express shipping, the beautiful packaging and the hand-written card. Makes every customer feel valued. Highly recommend!
