A black jade bottle held the last remaining scents of a secret garden. The discovery of its formula, copied by an indiscreet apprentice, revealed its mysteries. It belonged to a queen in the Trianon rose gardens, far from the splendors of the Court, before the turmoil of history was unleashed. Entrusted to a noblewoman and very dear friend, it has come down to us through the ages to be reborn today. Galbanum, bergamot and cardamom provide a fresh prelude to the rose and jasmine heart notes, enhanced by a hint of incense and cinnamon. The amber base, anchored in exotic woods, Indian sandalwood and patchouli, is arrayed in vanilla and Tonka bean.
Top notes: bergamot, geranium and galbanum.

My 2nd Bottle of Black Jade
It's not often I repurchase a full size bottle of perfume. (There are so many others to try!) But this is the ONLY perfume in my collection that Hubby comments on EVERYTIME I wear it. It is one that I have been stopped and asked what I am wearing. It lasts all day long. I have two other Lubins but this is hands down my favourite.

Spicy beginnings
First off I was disappointed that a sample of this wasn't included in my order. Other than that , the order arrived quickly and beautifully packaged as always from Libertine.
I like the perfume but I don't love it. The opening is spice and more spice. Cardamom mostly I think, with cinnamon, and after 10 minutes I was thinking of gingerbread cake. Reminded very briefly of Five O'Clock Au Gingembre by Serge Lutens but that soon disappoeared. After one hour on my skin it becomes quite soft and powdery, I can smell a hint of rose now and again.
My husband likes it on me.

Heaven on Earth
Such a divine perfume. As usual had to buy my own Mothers Day present but it is the perfect gift to myself. The package was like Christmas with all the beautiful wrapping and secret treats. Magnificent 🥰
