Opening is fresh zingy spicy and citrusy deliciousness that morphs into delicate white floral creamy goodness then dries down into a vanillic musky ambery perfection. I just love it .

A true gem for lovers of sandalwood or spicy, woody, resinous fragrances. If you love other iconic fragrances like Memo African Leather or BDK Gris Charnel Extract - then you must sample this fragrance!

The sandalwood note is so divine! It has fruity nuances; a sweetness to my nose like fig fruit, which truly compliments the woody and resinous notes and that smooth leather backbone.

Island Lush is unisex leaning masculine (in the opening) but anyone can wear this! I wore it for 7 hours today and it was still projecting when I got home after a day in the heat. I would wear this to any dressy occasion, date night, anytime you want to impress.

Starts off with a blast of fresh, bright & bitter lime and dries down to a masculine clean, dry and woody scent. Definitely leans masculine, a great simple linear scent for spring and summer.

My second favourite Goldfield's (the first is Pacific Rock Moss). It is intense, fresh, citrusy and long-lasting. Leans slightly towards a masculine scent but still very much unisex. If Citrus is your style, this is a perfect blind buy and a must have.

I had high expectations for that perfume but the performance doesn’t last long

An expertly put together fragrance with a twist on the usual lime. Daytime, everyday, a little more masculine and casual. Juicy and slightly sharper finger lime opening which begs for reapplying throughout the day gives way to a contemporary vetiver and cedar/sandalwood scent that is very office friendly as well. Love the connection Goldfield and Banks have made with uniquely Australian botanicals.

I love the aquatic opening but combination with the base notes doesn’t work for me personally. As always with G&B, it’s a strong long-lasting scent. I do note that the list of notes appears to have a few missing from the write up (lavender and patchouli).

Another woody amber scent from G&B, this one is more spicy (cardamom) than floral (comparing with Wood Infusion). All G&B scents are intense and very long lasting and this one is no exception. Wouldn’t recommend for blind but unless you are a fan of very intense fragrances.

I wanted something for summer days that’s not going to choke people out . Everything I own is a little in your face . So this fits the bill perfectly for that summer hot day summer session in the beer garden

But still high quality and I little different . Projects moderate and longevity not bad for this type of scent profile . ( wish that sea salt note was a little more prominent)

Just thinking about this scent gets my senses going. And it’s not even my usual scent group! It is perfectly described in the write up - marine, aquatic, cedar wood base. Very fresh, tending towards masculine (as Bohemian Lime does). Like all of Goldfields scents, it is VERY intense and long lasting. It’s the only Goldfields scent that I like (besides Bohemian Lime), as I find the others too strong, complex or sweet. I agree it should be a perfect blind buy.

I asked for a discovery set to be sent to me so I can get my nose on the G&B frags and see if there is anything I like. Its an Australian house and why not support it.

The creator of this fragrance said that worldwide they sell a bottle of Pacific Rock Moss every 4 minutes and after smelling it I understand why and had to buy a bottle myself.

For me, this is the Jewell in the crown of G&B lineup. Very hard to leave alone, always a go to for occasions when you want to be noticed - it is not a quiet achiever. It’s loud but perfectly in pitch. Best leather imho.

Lovely Scent. It is my favourite from Goldfield and Banks

Like every single G&B scent, this is strong. Too intense for me personally, but then out of the entire G&B discovery set there are only two that I like and can handle (Pacific Rock Moss and Bohemian Lime). That said, I love the concept of this brand. This particular scent is very floral for a fragrance classified as Woods. The blackcurrant gives it a tart fruitiness, and the coconut is a just detectable lovely note. If you haven’t tried G&B before I recommend trying a sample before going full size.

This little bit of Australia is a wonderful way to celebrate what beautiful country this is. Scent is heady to begin and improves well, for me. Very happy with purchase - and with Libertine’s approach of sending samples, very helpful!

This is unique among the florals that I own. It's sweet and lovely. A little watery and light, but present. Lasts a reasonable amount of time.

Sweet fruitiness with a touch of softness and creaminess.

Smells more peachy than tropical. Perfect summer scent. Surprised to see it classified as floral amber.

Libertine generous sent this as a sample (along with many others I now have on my wish list!) when I did re-purchase of my other longtime favourite fragrance - and I am hooked! Sunset Hour is such a beautiful, unique scent that I get many compliments on when wearing day or night. It is not your usual flowery floral scent and has a deep fruity/earthy/citrus element that I just love. Very glad I found this scent & brand!

One of the most beautiful fragrances I have ever worn, beautiful and fruity and lasts all day

A bright, fruity opening that dries down into a pleasant and easy-to-wear gourmand. Longevity on skin is underwhelming, but you’ll be catching whiffs of this delicious fragrance on your clothing for a while.

It is a great scent and is one of my favourites from Golfield & Banks.

It has strong projection first and generally last about 5 hours on my skin

100% definitely floral amber. I found this one very complex, and complex to describe. As per all Goldfield scents, it is very strong and long lasting. This is another one I have sprayed on my sofa (a sample!) as it just about has enough amber for me to tolerate the floral. I would recommend trying a sample before buying, as it is quite complex and unique.

As all Goldfield scents, this is as intense as they come. I wouldn’t recommend this as a blind buy, unless of course you are a fan of all the notes. Unfortunately this is another sample that was relegated to perfuming the sofa. It is incredibly long lasting (on the skin and the sofa!). I would agree with the description “richly enveloping”, not much “comforting”, unless perhaps several hours after spraying.

This is a great balance of citrus and woodsy fragrance. I have worn this in cold and warm weather and it somehow elevates and blends into perfection.
